In order to improve the design accuracy of accommodation painting area, the accommodation model visualization function is realized in the accommodation painting design stage based on the secondary development function provided by AVEVA Marine software (AM software). The area of accommodation elements such as stiffened frame and outfitting workpiece is calculated, the painting area of regular accommodation, L-shaped accommodation, and curved accommodation is calculated, and the calculation of accommodation painting area is verified. The calculation of accommodation painting area based on the model visualization function can greatly improve the efficiency of accommodation painting design and the accuracy of subsequent data processing.
