Abstract:An organ-type Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) shielding device for ship painting with extension elasticity on its open edge is developed, which is composed of support frame, organ-type shielding cover, tangential air nozzle, control system, and chain-type climbing mechanism. The device can control the disorganized emission of VOCs in the paint mist during the open space painting of hull or large structures, and realize the organized drainage treatment of VOCs. The application of the device can greatly reduce the treatment cost of VOCs disorganized emission in ship outfield painting.
