Abstract:In order to calculate the hoisting assembly strength of ship superstructure accurately, the finite element model of overall structure of superstructure hoisting assembly of 175 000 t bulk carrier is established with MSC.Patran software and MSC Nastran software. The structural response of the superstructure during hoisting assembly is calculated with the finite element analysis method including hoisting equipment, and the method is compared with the direct constraint method and the inertia relief method. The stress, deformation, and lifting point support reaction calculated with the three finite element methods are compared, and the accuracy of the finite element analysis method including hoisting equipment is analyzed. The results show that the finite element analysis method including hoisting equipment can calculate the stress, deformation, and lifting point support reaction of the structure more accurately, which is superior to the direct constraint method and the inertia relief method. The finite element analysis method including hoisting equipment is of certain engineering value for the evaluation of hoisting assembly strength and hoisting assembly scheme of ship superstructure.
