Taken a ro-ro ship as an example, the boarding types of functional shelter are introduced. According to the environmental adaptability and transportability of functional shelter, the functional characteristics, and dimension and mass parameters of each functional shelter are analyzed to determine the boarding feasibility of each functional shelter. The transshipment safeguard scheme and lashing safeguard scheme of functional shelter are studied, and the reasonable and feasible boarding safeguard scheme of functional shelter can be determined.
