Abstract:The optimization design of the unique anti-floating device for liquid tank of liquefied gas carrier is conducted to form the structured lifting lug. Two kinds of liquid tank lifting schemes, lifting with structured lifting lug and lifting with traditional lifting lug, are proposed. The structure strength of the two lifting schemes with finite element analysis software are compared and analyzed, and the advantages and feasibility of lifting with structured lifting lug are summarized, which can provide an optimal lifting lug layout for liquid tank lifting schemes of subsequent liquefied gas carriers.
