Abstract:The influence of front-and-back welding wires pattern, welding current, welding voltage, welding speed on weld forming of Double Wire Submerged Arc Welding (DWSAW) of corrosion resistant steel for domestic crude oil tanker is discussed, the DWSAW procedure test of corrosion resistant steel is conducted, and the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of DWSAW welding joint of corrosion resistant steel are analyzed. The results show that the corrosion resistant steel for domestic crude oil tanker is of good DWSAW adaptability, and the welding joint with both mechanical properties and corrosion resistance can be obtained with the appropriate welding procedure.
