The technology characteristics of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) are analyzed. Combined with the functional requirements of electronic map display module of ocean liner, the functional design of electronic map is conducted to realize the construction of electronic map display module of ocean liner. Taken an ocean liner as an example, the electronic map display module based on SVG format is verified to meet the requirements of networked construction of ocean liner, which can provide technology basis for the follow-up ocean liners to realize the passengers and crew dynamic navigation and to construct the personalized network service platform.
