Abstract:Based on the finite element method, the strength analysis and modal analysis of cargo oil pump motor base for a shuttle tanker under multiple working conditions are made. Its natural frequency is calculated, and the resonance possibility is analyzed by comparing the frequencies of main engine, propeller and other excitation sources. During the analysis, the point mass method is used to simplify the motor mass, the shell element is used to replace the solid base model, and the DesignModeler software is used to establish the model, divide the grid, and constrain the boundary conditions, and display the calculation results of stress and deformation, which is of a better guiding role in the evaluation and optimization of the design scheme.
