Abstract:The traditional soil excavation resistance calculation method of burying machine is generally to use the empirical formulas. The empirical formulas rely on the abundant test data and can only be adapted to the burying machines with specific shapes and sizes. Due to the different shapes and sizes of burying machines, the soil excavation resistance calculation method based on the empirical formulas is not very accurate. According to the basic principle of soil mechanics, on the basis of mechanical analysis, the mathematical method is used for the formula derivation, and the theoretical method for calculating the excavation resistance of burying machines with different shapes and sizes is obtained, which solves the limitation of relying on the empirical formulas to calculate the soil excavation resistance.
