Abstract:In terms of typical light trunk bulkhead structure with thin plate of ship superstructure, the finite element simulation of intermittent welding mode and single-side continuous welding mode is performed. Under the same procedure parameters, the influences of two welding modes on the welding deformation of light trunk bulkhead structure are compared. The results show that both two welding modes can make the free edges of light trunk bulkhead structure warped, which is consistent with the actual construction situation. According to the welding deformation data, it is concluded that the intermittent welding is beneficial to control the welding deformation of light trunk bulkhead structure.
