Abstract:In order to solve the problem that the traditional shipyard logistics positioning solution based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) can not be applied indoors, a shipyard logistics indoor positioning system based on Ultra Wide Band (UWB) is designed. By adding the motion sensor chips, the working time of UWB tag can be adjusted dynamically to extend its endurance. The Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) positioning algorithm is adopted to reduce the communication times required for a single positioning between the tag and base station, decrease the complexity of coordinate calculation, and improve the usability and scalability of the system. In the cooperation of the enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES), the system can provide a new train of thought for the shipyard logistics transportation management, pallet distribution control and other production links.
