Abstract:With the rapid changes in the global military maritime situation and the frequent use of various types of ships, optimizing ship human factors engineering is regarded as one of the important methods to improve the efficiency of crew work at sea and avoid safety accidents. Navies of various countries are gradually paying attention to the human factors engineering design of cabins, towers, and other cabins. This article focuses on the lighting layout of the driver's cab, introduces visual and parameterized simulation methods, which can effectively help designers accelerate iteration times and improve design quality. Firstly, the parameter settings such as lighting fixtures, materials, and virtual crew models were outlined. Secondly, the layout of the cockpit and crew positions were analyzed. Finally, simulation measurements were conducted on three working conditions: daytime navigation lighting environment, nighttime navigation lighting environment, and nighttime dock lighting environment, and modification suggestions were proposed.
