Abstract:With the renovation of the assembly line in the shipyard"s pipe fittings’ processing workshop, the requirements for logistic management within the workshop have also increased. In order to ensure the full utilization of the assembly line"s production capacity, a study has been conducted on the precise material distribution under the production mode of the pipe fittings assembly line in the shipyard. Through the breakdown of pipe erection, the logistics requirements of pipe erection at various workstations in the workshop were determined. Based on the medium production schedule, production was arranged, and material inspections were conducted on the pipe materials and pipe accessories at the same time. For pipes that meet production requirements, daily work orders were established. According to the production scheduling results, daily work orders were dispatched, production workstations were determined, and applications for pipe accessories were made based on the workstations. After production was completed, progress was promptly fed back, material consumption was verified, and subsequent production plans were adjusted. Finally, the plan was applied to the actual production in the shipyard. Compared with traditional distribution methods, materials are accurately distributed to the corresponding work stations, reducing the search time for workers by 60%.
