Abstract:In order to enhance the application of digital ship painting design,meet the accuracy requirements of cabin painting area, and shorten the design time, based on the secondary development functions provided by AVEVA Marine software, utilizing the high-level programming language C# and area calculation methods, painting models’ visualization of different cabin is realized during the painting design stage, thereby enhancing the software’ interactivity. By using the visualized models to calculate the effective area, a faster and more accurate painting area calculation function can be realized. Through the application of digital ship design, the manual workload is reduced, the efficiency of painting design and the accuracy of subsequent coatings are improved.
