Abstract:Self-elevating marine ranch platform is a new type of marine ranch managing equipment, which can be used for marine ranch management and environmental monitoring. Regarding a self-elevating marine ranch platform as the research object, we calculated the overturning moment and restoring moment, analyzed the overturning safety factor, and we also checked the strength of pile legs. Overturning moment loads include wind load, wave current load, P- Δ Load and DAF load. Recovery moment loads include the weight of empty ship, the weight of pile legs and pile shoes, and the buoyancy of pile legs. The results show that the overturning stability of this platform meets the standard requirement. The results can provide a reference for the environmental loads calculation and the overturning stability analysis of self-elevating platforms.
